What We Do

We are a full-service goat grazing services company dedicated to restoring land to a better ecological balance. Goats are the “Swiss army knife” of nature: they eat undesirable vegetation, ferment it into nitrogen-rich manure pellets and aerate the soil with their hooves. This process helps transition land to better long-term health.

The presence of goats can be incredibly beneficial depending on how they are managed. We practice active goat management, meaning we created smaller, fenced-in sets (“paddocks”) within the larger area in which we are grazing the animals, and we move the herd to a new paddock every 2-3 days. We personally check on the herd on a daily basis, refilling water as needed and monitoring goat health.

“Smaller paddocks and frequent moves” is a better approach for both plant and animal health. By concentrating the goats in a smaller area, they are more likely to eat all the targeted, unwanted vegetation, rather than selectively browse only their favorite plants over a larger area.
